On Saturday 11 October get your dancing shoes on cos it's music all day and into the night...

Two stages and non-stop music including Blue King Brown, The McClymonts, The Backsliders and Jeff Lang. Also performing are a range of local acts including Kate Osman, Jackson Firebird and much more.
McClymonts

THE McCLYMONTS

The McClymont sisters Brooke, Samantha and Mollie McClymont unleashed their musical alchemy and soaring vocal perfection when they released their first self-titled EP in June 06.

For the past eighteen months, the McClymonts have toured with Lee Kernighan, wowing reviewers and audiences alike.

Chaos and Bright Lights (the album title describes a typical working day in the life of the sisters) follows the top ranked EP, The McClymonts, and affirms the stellar combination of three notable individual careers.

Blue King Brown

BLUE KING BROWN

Rhythmic and highly energetic reggae/roots band, Blue King Brown are big festival favourites around Australia.

This nine-piece act from Melbourne sprang to prominence in 2006 with the funk-infused reggae classic Water from their debut self-titled EP. This is one act not to be missed.

Backsliders BACKSLIDERS

With more than 20 years in the business, Backsliders are originators of the ‘delta-blues wall of sound’ that can lift the roof off any venue—moving from straight ahead, in your face, amped-up, original blues to all-acoustic unplugged ‘way down south’ delta blues.

Multi-media celebrity Doug Mulray describes them as “the best acoustic blues band in the country”.

jeff lang

Jeff Lang

Jeff Lang has a reputation for startlingly original performances, working without a set list and allowing the unique energy of each night to shape the songs.

“Seeing Jeff Lang was like being at church for three hours – a totally sacred event.  He’s the man as far as I’m concerned,” said musician John Butler.
“Lang is really the godfather of an Australia-based back-to-basics blues movement that now encompasses the John Butler Trio, Ash Grunwald and Xavier Rudd.”

Bruce Elder - Sydney Morning Herald.

JACKSON FIREBIRD

JACKSON FIREBIRD

Mildura based Jackson Firebird consistently manage to captivate audiences with hard rocking blues show after hard rocking blues show.

Incorporating a souped-up recycle bin and an electric washboard into the mix, Jackson Firebird are like to think of themselves as a 'couple of sweat fuelled adrenaline burning band monkeys.'
