Organised by members of Desert Knowledge Australia, this food expo will showcase a wide range products made from desert ingredients.

This Blue Sky Red Earth Food Expo will be held over both days of the festival and will feature cooking demonstrations by Athol Wark, chef, promoter of Australian Wildfoods, and member of the Alice Desert Festival Bushfoods/Wildfoods Committee in Alice Springs.

"The motivation behind Blue Sky Red Earth is to showcase what is available locally and around the desert regions. People often don't know what is produced in and around their own town, let alone in other desert regions.
